Within easy driving distance of Worcester, Cheltenham, and Stratford-upon-Avon is the charming market town of Evesham, which is located in the Vale of Evesham and in a horseshoe of the River Avon. In addition to having a wide variety of unique shops, tea houses, craft and antique stores, numerous traditional pubs, an Art Deco movie theatre, and a vibrant arts centre, Evesham and the surrounding area are well known for their market gardening. The Domesday Book mentions Evesham, which features a variety of lovely black and white timbered structures, including the 15th-century merchants house in the Market Square and Evesham Abbey's ruins, which are thought to date to the eighth century. Shakespeare's Avon Way, Wychavon Way, and The Heart of England Way are just a few of the excellent walks available in the area. With its large garden centre, well-stocked farm shop, courtyard shops, restaurant, and 130-acre estate crisscrossed with walks, Evesham Country Park is well worth a visit. You can also take a stroll up Bredon Hill, which is located in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is home to an Iron Age Fort, Roman ramparts, and numerous ancient standing stones. The Bronze Age-old spa town of Malvern, which hosts year-round antique and artisan fairs and auctions, and the historic cathedral city of Worcester, the birthplace of Sir Edward Elgar, are also close by.

The hosts were very pleasant and, if in need, were quite happy to give help. A very generous welcome pack was greatly appreciated. The location was ideal as base for getting out and about, especially for NT visits. We highly recommend The Belfry and hope to return one day
Rebecca
So clean and modern, but still has a homely feel to it. The owner is so helpful, and went above and beyond for us when we had car trouble. Close to so many places of interest. A lovely country pub opposite the property serving delicious food, the staff are so friendly too. We will definitely be staying at the Belfry again.
