Guests say

Hallgarth Farm Holiday Lodge receives high praise for its cleanliness, stunning location, and comfort. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, including a hot tub with beautiful views. The hosts, Sue and Matthew, are commended for their hospitality and thoughtfulness, often providing a welcome hamper. The property is ideal for a peaceful and relaxing break, with plenty of local attractions and walks.

Reviewers consistently mention the spotless condition of the lodge, indicating exceptional standards of cleanliness that contribute significantly to the overall guest experience.

The lodge's location is highly praised for its beautiful rural setting with views of the Malvern and Cotswold hills, convenient access to local towns, and proximity to walking areas, making it an ideal countryside retreat.

Guests find the lodge very comfortable, highlighting the quality of the beds, the cosy atmosphere created by the log burner, and the relaxing environment, both indoors and outdoors.

The property's facilities receive excellent feedback, with special mentions of the well-equipped kitchen, large hot tub, and garden amenities. However, one mention of a slow-heating oven hob slightly impacts the otherwise perfect score.

The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident in the welcome hampers and attention to detail, although it is politely noted that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

About this property

Settled on a working sheep farm in the quaint village of Peopleton, rests this stylish barn conversion, Hallgarth Farm Cottage. Enjoying far-reaching views of the unspoilt countryside of Worcestershire, this pet-friendly cottage is idyllic for a family of four. Drive up your own private entrance and be greeted by two off-road parking spaces, on the owner's grounds, and admire your oak framed holiday home. Step into the entrance hallway to kick-off your walking boots and hang your jackets, ready for a ramble. Climb upstairs to the first floor to find the open-plan living space, with sloped ceilings and a south facing balcony to soak in the sweeping countryside. Unwind on the recliner sofa with a cup of tea and flicker through the TV with Freeview to catch-up on your favourite shows. When stomachs begin to rumble, the chef of the group can whip up tasty dishes in the kitchen area, with an electric oven and induction hob to assist with the cooking. The neat and tidy one of the group will be delighted with the built-in dishwasher and washer/dryer for an easy clean-up! Take a seat at the dining table for four to enjoy a meal together and why not uncork a bottle of fizz to toast to your hideaway? Watch the sunset from the Juliet balcony or relax on the other balcony, with a table and chairs to soak in the sights. Head down to the ground floor to explore the garden area, where a barbecue offers alternative dining arrangements, and a hot tub provides a moment of relaxation. As the sky grows dark, retreat up to the first floor to choose between a double or a twin bedroom, both with Smart TVs and an en-suite shower for a private rinse. Awaken with a steaming cup of coffee, courtesy of the coffee maker and make use of the appliances to conjure a home-cooked breakfast. If you fancy a break from cooking, take a short stroll to a traditional British pub, The Crown Inn, for a light lunch or hearty meal. Sporting enthusiasts will be thrilled with The Vale Golf & Country Club and avid walkers can take their canines to Millenium Woods or explore as you step from the front door on many local walks. Jump in the car to tour the nearby attractions, where you can recuperate at Worcestershire's Vale and Spa or have some family fun at The Great Worcester Maize Maze. Head into the heart of the historical city of Worcester, home to a Tudor House Museum to unveil the past, the quirky exhibitions of Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum, as well as The National Trust site of The Firs: Elgar's Birthplace. For a countryside escape, with much to see and do, choose Hallgarth Farm Holiday Lodge.

Peopleton is a semi-rural village in Worcestershire, betwixt Tilesford, Windmill Hill, and Egdon. The Pantry at Peopleton, a volunteer-run convenience store in the bustling hamlet, is well-stocked with fresh bread, baked products, and delectable fruits. The Crown Inn, a quintessentially British pub managed by a family, offers a friendly greeting and a refreshing pint for eating down. The busy city of Worcester is close by, with a variety of activities such as the Tudor House Museum, a family fun maze, and the charming Bilford Bottom Lock. More excitement may be found at Evesham, where children can ride the Evesham Vale Light Railway and adults can go for a walk through lush trees at Eoves Wood. It isn’t totally boundary fenced in so our dog remained in lead. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating and very understanding of our dog. Such beautiful surroundings and a central location to drive places Evesham, Pershore, Kemerton, Croombe, Droitwich were all about a 20 min drive which was great. For Clarkson’s Farm enthusiasts, Diddly Squat, The Farmers Dog and Hawkstone Arms were all an hour away and close to each other to visit the three in one day. Thank you for a lovely stay we hope to visit again the future

They absolutely loved it, all the garden space, the hot tub, the sheep, the trampoline and of course the fab WiFi

It was very thoughtfully arranged and very comfortable, we loved the balcony and could have spent hours out there taking in the view. Everything we needed was available in the cottage, the owners and family were very friendly and accommodating, we only had to ask for one thing and they responded and sorted it immediately. We would definitely stay again.
