The town offers a refreshing selection of individual shops, a local brewery, pubs and restaurants, including The Lamp, Gauthama, and The Stable Tavern, but is most famous for its unique church, which has a peculiar, crooked steeple. Continue onto Ludlow, where you will find the magnificent Ludlow Castle, Linney Riverside Park, the charming Ludlow Market held weekly, closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and five Michelin Star restaurants, Forelles, Mortimers. French Pantry, Charlton Arms and Old Downton Lodge, perfect for foodies! Further afield, you’ll find Bridgnorth, an idyllic town split into High Town and Low Town, home to the Severn Valley Railway, Bridgnorth Castle and Gardens, Bridgnorth Cliff Railway, and a variety of cocktail bars, pubs and restaurants.     Its location is brilliant with direct access on to common land with miles of footpaths to explore. The surrounding area offers lots of opportunities for days out. The welcome pack provided by the owners was much appreciated, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
