Church View in Keighley is a well-loved apartment, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location in the heart of Haworth. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, including welcome hampers, and the property's character and history add to its charm. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many guests expressing a desire to return.
The majority of guests have reported the apartment to be spotlessly clean, with only one negative comment regarding the cleanliness which seems to be an outlier. The consistent mention of cleanliness suggests a high standard maintained by the property.
The location is frequently described as excellent, right in the centre of Haworth, close to local attractions and amenities. Some noise from nearby pubs is mentioned, but it does not significantly detract from the overall positive feedback about the location.
Guests find the apartment comfortable, with a particularly large and comfy bed being a highlight. The presence of two sofas and the cosy atmosphere contribute to the comfort of the stay.
Facilities are generally praised for being well-equipped and adequate for a self-catering holiday. Some guests noted issues with the fridge and freezer compartment, and occasional noise from other guests in the building. However, these are minor compared to the overall positive feedback.
Many guests mention and appreciate the thoughtful welcome hampers, which include wine, chocolates, and cookies. While these gifts are warmly received, it is important to note that such amenities are subject to change and may not be guaranteed for every stay.
A first class, self-catering apartment within a lovely period property, occupying a superb, elevated position in the village of Haworth, home to the famous Bronte sisters. Located in the very centre of this ever-popular village, this apartment is ideal for those looking to get away from it all and enjoy a romantic break. Individually styled and furnished, the main living area has an open plan layout with a beamed ceiling, quality furnishings, panelled walls and feature windows overlooking the top of the historic main street. The bedroom, with views to the famous church, is spacious with a super king-size bed and an en-suite, and it retains many of the original features, including a feature fireplace and stone mullioned windows. Steeped in literary history and formerly home to the Bronte sisters, Haworth has traditional pubs, restaurants and cafes, and a variety of walks, allowing visitors to follow in the footsteps of Catherine and Heathcliff and wander the fantastic rugged moorland. Skipton is nearby, with its cobbled streets and delightful castle and further afield is the Victorian spa town of Harrogate, boasting fabulous shops, an excellent theatre and the fantastic Royal Pump Room Museum. A wonderful self-catering apartment, perfect for a romantic break exploring all this lovely area has to offer. Note: This property can be booked with Ref 930443, together they sleep 4.
Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren.
