A unesco World Heritage Site, the village is steeped in history and wonderful architecture. Explore the Saltaire Mill complex or take a short stroll to Roberts Victorian Park where you can enjoy a picnic or boat ride along the canal. The Saltaire Festival in September celebrates live music, markets, performance and culture and is a brilliant experience for all. For walkers and cyclists of all abilities there are a multitude of tracks and trails from the doorstep, as well as the Bronte Falls walk-in Howarth 8 miles away and the Yorkshire Dales within easy reach.
