Guests generally enjoyed their stay at 2A Chiserley Stile, praising its great location, hot tub, and cosy atmosphere. The property's cleanliness and maintenance received mixed feedback, with some guests noting issues but others finding it spotless. The thoughtful touches like welcome gifts were appreciated, although not consistent across all stays.
The cleanliness of the property received mixed reviews. Some guests reported it as spotless, while others noted concerns such as mould, a smelly fridge, and unclean utensils. These issues suggest room for improvement in cleaning standards.
The location is highly praised for its picturesque setting and proximity to local amenities, including pubs and the town of Hebden Bridge. Guests enjoyed the peaceful village and the scenic walks, contributing to a high score for location.
Most guests found the cottage comfortable, mentioning a very comfortable bed and cosy environment. However, a few noted that the shower could be improved and the sofa was not too comfortable, slightly lowering the score.
Facilities like the hot tub were a highlight, but some guests reported issues with maintenance such as a broken blind, a loose shower head, and a lack of basic supplies. These mixed experiences suggest that while the facilities are generally good, there is room for better maintenance.
Guests mentioned thoughtful gestures such as welcome gifts of chocolates and a card, as well as practical provisions like toilet rolls and hand wash. However, as these were not consistently reported by all guests, it is politely noted that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

The cottage is cosy and has everything you need - even extras like a dishwasher, terrace with hot tub and a little walk-in wardrobe! The location is ideal for walking and visiting local towns/villages. We didn't use the car once which was nice. We'd recommend the local pub (Hare & Hounds) and cafe/shop (The Old Post Office). We loved the cottage and the area so much that we extended our stay! Thank you.
