Guests say

Chalet 235 in Bridlington offers a pleasant stay with its proximity to the beach and local amenities. Guests appreciate the well-equipped property, thoughtful touches from the owners, and the pet-friendly environment. While some minor issues with cleanliness and comfort are noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

The chalet is generally found to be clean, with a few guests noting the need to re-clean certain areas. The overall impression is positive, but there is room for improvement in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its convenience, being a short walk from the beach and close to local shops and amenities. The quiet surroundings add to the appeal, making it an ideal spot for a holiday.

Comfort receives mixed reviews, with some guests finding the beds and seating adequate, while others note the beds could be improved. The presence of a loft bedroom is a highlight for some.

The chalet is well-equipped for a holiday stay, though some guests missed having a hairdryer and local information. Facilities are generally good, but there is a suggestion to include more comprehensive amenities.

Guests mention thoughtful gestures such as a welcome note and a Christmas present, indicating the owners' care. However, as gifts are personal touches and not guaranteed, they should be seen as a bonus rather than an expectation.

5 minutes from the beach and in the other direction a fish & chip shop, convenience store and bus stop. However, we had to discover all this for ourselves, there was no local information in the chalet, not even a visitors' book. We were also surprised there was no hairdryer, for around £600 per week we expected one. There was a welcome box with drinks and biscuits but no shower gell or shampoo. We are more used to cottages, so perhaps chalets and caravans are not so well equipped, must make a note for next time!!!
