Sunset Gem is a well-received holiday lodge, praised for its cleanliness, stunning location with beautiful views, and relaxing atmosphere. The hot tub is a highlight, and the property is appreciated for its secure, spacious outdoor area. Some minor suggestions for improvement include additional privacy measures and more comfortable bedding, but overall, guests have had enjoyable stays and many intend to return.
Guests consistently mention the lodge's cleanliness, describing it as immaculate and well-prepared for their arrival. The hot tub is noted to be checked daily, contributing to the high standards of hygiene.
The lodge's location is frequently praised for its wonderful views and proximity to local attractions. It offers a peaceful rural setting with easy access to nearby towns and beaches, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and exploration.
While many guests find the lodge comfortable and cosy, there are comments about the beds not being very comfy and a desire for more pillows and larger towels. The presence of flies also detracted from the comfort for some guests.
The facilities, especially the hot tub, are well-regarded, though there are suggestions for improvements such as additional privacy blinds and better lighting. The maintenance of the hot tub is highlighted as excellent.
