You’ll also be near some of East Yorkshire’s finest beaches, including the hidden gems of North Landing (21 miles) and Mappleton (3 miles). In the evenings, sip a sundowner in your private patio garden.
The single-storey barn conversion is located on the owner’s working farm. Inside, you’ll find a stylish abode with sleek furniture, little pops of colour in the soft furnishings, and a plethora of homely touches to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The main living area is open plan, featuring a contemporary kitchen with everything needed for a self-catering break and a breakfast bar for sharing mealtimes together. There’s also a statement sofa to snuggle up on at the end of the day, as you watch a film on the Smart TV. When day turns to night, retire to the inviting double bedroom for a good night’s rest. A refreshing shower room completes the accommodation. Outside, the enclosed patio provides the perfect spot for an al fresco supper on a summer’s evening.
The charming seaside town of Hornsea boasts a long, sandy beach backed by a promenade, and has a great range of independent shops and eateries. Just outside the town, Hornsea Mere provides a tranquil spot to unwind. Here, you’ll find Yorkshire’s largest freshwater lake – where fishing, sailing, and rowing are available – as well as a fascinating RSPB reserve. Heading inland, the attractive market town of Beverley (13 miles) makes a lovely day out, with its historic buildings, cosy pubs, racecourse, and excellent shops.
