There are many unique shops, pubs, and cafés in the historic district, and adjacent Hornsea Mere is the biggest natural lake in Yorkshire, perfect for water sports such as sailing, fishing, and boating. The Bempton Cliffs rspb reserve, home to one of the greatest mainland puffin populations in Britain, is located little over half an hour's drive from Hornsea Freeport, a popular retail destination. Our only concern was after booking the cottage we realised it was on street parking but when we arrived and settled in we realised that although the property on Main Street very few cars used the road a great place to stay thankyou ladies

Bathroom needs a bit of attention but was very clean. Shower is quite powerful, plenty of hot water for a bath too. Would stay again .
