There is plenty of room and it's extremely comfortable and warm. Lighting the fire and curling up on the sofa with a drink after a long day out was lovely. We managed to get to grips with the Aga though none of us had ever used one before. Our friends' two girls (9 and 6) loved having the second lounge where they could play on their own. It felt like their own secret place. As there were 6 of us it would have been really useful to have had a larger saucepan and perhaps a big casserole dish to put in the Aga for slow cooking. It made us quite inventive! It's a great spot for things to do; the Yorkshire Sculpture Park was fabulous as was the National Mining Mueum and the local farm shop which did a great breakfast for our last morning. All in all, a great trip.
