Cedar Lodge is praised for its beautiful, well-kept grounds and dog-friendly environment, with local attractions easily accessible. Guests enjoyed the comfortable lodgings and the added enjoyment of wildlife. The play area and on-site library were appreciated, though some noted the lodge could benefit from updates and a thorough clean.
Most reviews suggest the lodge is generally clean, but one review mentioned dust and marks on bed sheets, indicating room for improvement in cleanliness.
The location is highly regarded for its proximity to attractions and natural beauty, making it a well-situated base for exploring the area.
Guests found the lodge comfortable, with good quality towels and soft pillows, though one guest mentioned the bed was not ideal for taller individuals.
Facilities are generally good, with a play area and a unique 'library' mentioned. However, some guests noted the absence of a BBQ and a small TV, suggesting some facilities could be updated or better maintained.
While the reviews reflect a thoughtful touch with the provision of DVDs and books, there is no mention of gifts, so it is not possible to score this category.

The lodge was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and pillows were nice and soft. The towels were large and of good quality .The little play park was a bonus and so was the telephone kiosk which had DVD's and books for us to borrow which filled the time in when it rained. The gardens were well kept. We saw rabbits and squirrels which added to our enjoyment. We would definitely recommend this lodge. It was nice that there was plenty of space between the lodges .
