The beds are comfortable, just what you need after a long day out and about. Very helpful owner, sorted a small problem out without any hesitation Walking distance to Temple Newsam was an added bonus

An air fryer in the kitchen in addition to the normal cooker/hob was a nice touch. The shower was excellent.

All the appliances in the house were brand new and everything was sparkling clean when we arrived. The shower was particularly good - better that ours at home. There were a few items of equipment that we would have expected in a self-catering property that were not there initially, such as an outside clothes line, but the owner immediately sorted this out for us, and asked for suggestions of anything else that we felt was needed as this was a new holiday let. Next day a shopping bag full of extra utensils etc was delivered. From the house there is a lovely walk to Temple Newsam and there was plenty of woodland for walking our dog. We enjoyed visits to Tropical World and Harewood House. There is a decent Co-op withing walking distance and a large Sainsburys close by which made meals really quick and easy.
