3 South View is a well-received cottage in the Yorkshire Dales, praised for its cosy atmosphere, ideal location for walkers, and well-equipped nature. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as the comprehensive folder of walks and the enclosed garden. While there was an isolated incident of cleanliness on arrival, the overall experience is positive, with many guests planning to return.
The cottage generally maintains high standards of cleanliness, though there was a single report of the property not being cleaned prior to arrival. This seems to be an exception rather than the rule, as other reviews do not mention cleanliness issues.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to walking routes and the Yorkshire Dales, making it ideal for outdoor enthusiasts. The only minor drawback mentioned is the parking situation, which requires a short walk.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of cosy beds and a warm environment. One guest found the sofa slightly uncomfortable, but this does not seem to be a common concern.
The cottage is celebrated for its well-equipped kitchen and the availability of hot water. Facilities for outdoor activities are appreciated. A minor note was made about the fire alarm batteries potentially needing replacement.
The owners' thoughtfulness is evident from the detailed walking guides and the well-enclosed garden for dogs. While no specific gifts are mentioned, the overall provision of amenities and information suggests a high level of consideration for guests' needs. It should be noted that such personal touches are subject to change and may not be guaranteed.

The garden is well enclosed if you have dogs . There is plenty of information in the cottage about facilities and the walks in the area . It is ideal for anyone walking the 3 peaks or being on the edge of the Pennine way walking in the beautiful surroundings . The owners are prompt in their support if you need anything . We will definitely be returning .

The weather was mixed so we did low level walks each day. We particularly enjoyed the warm welcome and good value food at the Helwith Bridge Inn and Elaine's Tea Rooms in Feizor. Our young Daughter was delighted that the cottage was so well equipped. We were able to make a Sunday Roast as well as baking cakes and biscuits and playing new board games. Having a Smart TV, excellent WiFi and Netflix was also a bonus. We look forward to visiting again in warmer weather, climbing the Three Peaks and relaxing by the stream in the garden.
