Communication was excellent with queries swiftly answered. We were lucky to have great weather during our stay although there had been nothing but rain in the previous weeks. The lodge is spotless and very comfortable. The bed was sooo comfy if very high! Loads of towels, kitchen well equipped although no welcome pack so you need to take all food you will need. Nice bottle of Prosecco and chocolates made up for that! Hot tub divine. Only negative is that awful track to it. Huge water filled potholes (because of the previous rain) impossible to avoid made for very nervous trips down it. Our car is low so we dreaded the journey every time and it will be spending a long time in the car wash! It is a fabulously secluded place and would love to stay again but only if there had been good weather previously.

Middle of nowhere.. so quiet. Just what we needed. Did visit places every day some lovely local villages. Waterfalls, holes. Yes we went up a hill path to see the hull pot. And ate at some wonderful local cafeâs and public houses. Oh and the jacuzzi was a plus. Thank you. Ps. Our dogs loved the garden too. Perfect get away.
