The Hayloft at Tennant Barn is a beautiful apartment set on the first floor of a barn conversion above another holiday property, resting on the riverside in the centre of the village of Malham, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. With its own private entrance hall, this superb holiday apartment in Malham has been beautifully finished by the owners with a stylish, contemporary twist, and features thoughtful additions including eco-friendly, air source heating to provide exclusive holiday accommodation. With a spacious bedroom boasting a super-king-size bed and a stylish adjoining en-suite, this lovely Malham apartment provides the perfect retreat for couples seeking a romantic Yorkshire Dales getaway. The luxurious open-plan living area is bright with its stunning, very well-equipped kitchen with large fridge/freezer, whilst the sitting area features exposed beams, a large TV and comfy seating, providing a spot to unwind together after a busy day discovering the Dales. Inviting views of the surrounding countryside can be enjoyed from inside, but on sunny days, guests should venture out to the riverside grassed area, where you can enjoy a glass of wine and unwind as you watch the water hurry by. Set in the heart of this pretty little village, you will find a selection of quaint tea rooms and local inns as well as the National Park Visitor Centre, with lots of information on nearby attractions, just a short walk away. The picturesque village of Malham has pubs and tearooms and a National Park Centre. It is a magnet for visitors to the Dales who come to see one of Britain's most impressive natural features - Malham Cove, a natural cavern or 'amphitheatre' of limestone rock. A steep walk up man-made steps is rewarded with a superb view across moors and limestone pavements to Malham Tarn - the Pennines' highest natural lake. Mountain bike hire can be arranged locally. There is excellent walking in all directions, making Malham a great base for a Dales holiday.
