Waters View is a well-received holiday rental in Skipton, praised for its prime location, modern decor, and high-quality facilities. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and the thoughtful personal touches from the owner. While some minor maintenance issues and suggestions for improvements are noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests looking forward to returning.

Guests consistently mention the property's spotless condition, indicating a high standard of cleanliness. One review mentioned the need to wash some items, but this seems an isolated incident.

The property's location is highly praised for its proximity to the town centre, scenic canal views, and convenient parking, making it an ideal base for exploring Skipton.

The majority of guests find the property comfortable, noting the quality of the bed and the overall spaciousness. However, some guests suggest additional lamps for better lighting and mention the steep stairs as a potential discomfort for some.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a fully equipped kitchen and modern amenities. Points are deducted for recurring minor issues such as the TV angle, fridge door, and lack of non-slip shower mat, which indicate room for improvement in maintenance.

While guests appreciate the personal contact from the owner and the overall thoughtfulness in the property's presentation, there is no mention of gifts, and therefore it is not possible to score this category.

Skipton was ranked as the best place to live in Britain by The Sunday Times in 2014, and it was again named one of the top nine towns in Yorkshire and the North East in 2016. Steam railways at Embsay and Bolton Abbey offer regular excursions, and the Leeds–Liverpool Canal passes through Skipton, offering quick access to the mile-long Foulridge Tunnel and the five-rise locks at Bingley. Skipton has loads of lovely pubs most serving food and great walks direct from the front door. If we were being really picky we would recommend a couple of lamps in the lounge for mood lighting. Communication with Andy the owner was brilliant we will be booking again.

If I went again I would take a teapot, flood lighting for the kitchen, non slip shower mat and notes on how to undo the hob lock, steps to reach the draw cord on the blinds. (The cords could of course be lengthened as in my own home!) The bedroom lighting is excellent unlike the upper living area! A possible low cost improvement would be to add strip lighting under the kitchen cupboards.

Note bedroom and bathroom is downstairs. Convenient to Skipton canals and centre. Highly recommend.
