Situated equidistant between the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, the opportunities for exploration are endless. These include a day at the races, a family trip to the unique Forbidden Corner at Middleham (19 miles), or a trip to a country house such as Newby Hall (23.5 miles) and Kiplin Hall (2 miles). The quaint town of Bedale is just 6 miles away, where the cobbled streets are lined with independent shops. Take home some delicious local cheeses, explore the unique 12th century church or take in Yorkshire's finest scenery from the Wensleydale Railway.
