Guests say

Guests have enjoyed the spacious, comfortable Covercote cottage, appreciating its beautiful location and views. The garden is a hit, especially for children, and the proximity to hiking routes and a traditional pub adds to the charm. Some minor issues with kitchen cleanliness and maintenance were noted.

The property was generally found to be super clean. However, there were repeated mentions of sticky kitchen worktops, which suggests a need for attention in this area.

The location is praised for its gorgeous scenery and accessibility to hiking routes. Its isolation and single-track roads are seen as an advantage by some, indicating a high level of satisfaction with the location.

The cottage is described as spacious, comfortable, and warm, with plenty of space in the rooms. The presence of a piano was an added bonus for some guests.

Facilities are generally excellent, with a well-stocked kitchen and ample space. However, there were issues with the induction hob and a lack of oven gloves. Suggestions for improvement include a lock on the utility room door and secure fencing for pets.

There is no mention of gifts or special touches that would indicate the level of thoughtfulness. Therefore, this score cannot be assessed and is set to null.

It is clean, spacious and very well equipped as well as pleasantly, rurally located. The lay out of the cottage is ideal, fantastic kitchen dining area with everything you could wish for, two perfect bathrooms. A cosy living room with a wood burner, plenty of seating enabled us all to sit, chat and relax. All of the bedrooms and their decor/layout/facilities were perfect for us; the only thing thing that bothered us during our stay were the single mattresses in the twin room. They weren’t as comfy as the other mattresses which affected our sleep quality. We had a fantastic weekend, would recommend this property. We would love to stay here again for a family trip away. Thank you very much.

otherwise, lovely spacious house, great location and gorgeous scenery that was much enjoyed!

A little isolated, and accessed by mainly single-track roads, but to some that's an advantage/attraction! Good communication with owners. All in all, I would highly recommend this property and will most definitely be considering using it again in the future.
