The property is quite remote but not too isolated. We really liked that there was a collection of houses around us and it was only a short drive into Reeth for supplies. The cottage has everything you need as a home away from home, apart from a TV - but we loved that! Instead we spent our evenings playing games (of which there were plenty provided) and reading in front of the real fire. Although if you're desperate for technology there is a good WiFi connection. Our puppy enjoyed her stay too and spent time rummaging around on the grass area at the front of the property.

Hand rails over the bath would help in safetyThe facilities otherwise are first class plentiful and simpleto use not having to spend the whole week finding how some thing works.

No television, sheer bliss, especially in the run up to the general election. Plenty of books, including lots of local history and interest, and games in the cottage The housekeeper Sue is so helpful and friendly. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place. We are staying in Aros again later this year. Enough said!
