The well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, and the addition of a summer house are frequently highlighted. The property's cleanliness and location are commended, with many guests enjoying local walks and the nearby pub. While most feedback is positive, a few guests noted minor issues with maintenance and provisions.

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with numerous guests noting its spotless condition upon arrival. One isolated comment mentioned stained pillow protectors and a mattress cover, but this seems to be an exception rather than the rule.

The location is highly praised for its peacefulness, beautiful views, and proximity to local walks and a pub. Guests appreciate the quiet and quaint setting, ideal for exploring Swaledale.

Comfort is a strong point for the cottage, with guests mentioning the comfortable bed, cosy log fire, and overall homely feel. The summer house is also noted for providing a comfortable space to enjoy the surroundings.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the cottage being described as well-equipped. However, some guests mentioned issues such as poor bathroom lighting and a jammed window, which suggests room for improvement in maintenance.

While many guests feel the cottage is thoughtfully equipped, there are no specific mentions of gifts provided by the owner. Therefore, it is not possible to score this category accurately, and guests should not expect gifts during their stay.

A beautiful, cozy cottage with a lot of natural charm. It was a great pleasure to stay here for the weekend and enjoy the peace and quiet it had to offer. The view was wonderful and great to see in all weathers. The cottage itself was also a treat to cozy up and read a book or watch a dvd with a coffee or glass of wine.

Ideally placed for exploring Swaledale, a pretty cottage with the bonus of a little summer house to sit in and admire the view. The only negatives I would say are the steepness of the stairs to the first floor and the steep step from the main bedroom, otherwise, perfect.

Perfekt location for walking in the Swaledale. We absolutely loved the summer-hut.
