Nestled in the charming market town of Malton, within North Yorkshire, is this superb second-floor apartment. Inside the owners have created a smart and warming retreat for couples looking for a rural escape. Following the steps up to the first-floor, you come into an outdoor courtyard area, shared with another property and is perfect for sitting out in the afternoon sun with a refreshing drink or to dine alfresco. The sitting room is the perfect base for unwinding into the evening, curled up together on the sofa for a family movie night with the warming woodburning stove to keep you toasty. Walk through to the open-plan kitchen/diner in a farmhouse style, housing all the appliances you could need to cook up some delicious meals, to be enjoyed at the dining table whilst discussing the day's events. Once the evening draws to a close, retire to the king-size bedroom where you can get some much needed rest for the days ahead and benefit from the wall-mounted Smart TV so you can watch your favourite shows in bed of a morning. The family bathroom provides an elegant bath and shower over, so you can enjoy a warm soak in the tub at the end of a tiring day, or have a quick shower before venturing off exploring. Situated close to the beautiful North York Moors National Park and the Howardian Hills AONB for a plethora of country trails for walking and cycling. Malton itself has a number of interesting and historic buildings to visit, such as the old Corn Exchange and Assembly Rooms and Malton Museum for a spot of history. Do some shopping at Malton's general weekly market to pick up last-minute essentials or buy some souvenirs for yourself and loved ones back home. Just over twenty miles away is the bustling seaside town of Scarborough with a range of tourist sights such as the Japanese-style Peasholm Park, SEA LIFE Scarborough, Scarborough beach and the historic Scarborough Castle, just to name a few. 2 Rodgers Mews is a wonderful choice for a peaceful and tranquil base within North Yorkshire.
