Go into the lounge, which has a wood burner, a Smart TV and comfortable sofas, and to the kitchen/dining space with everything you need to prepare meals and a dining table for six guests. There are three bedrooms in total, including a good-sized twin room with storage on the ground floor along with a large wet room/bathroom with a bath and shower. Upstairs, you’ll find the second twin and lovely double bedroom with wooden beams, and another bathroom with a bath and shower attachment. Head outside to admire the pretty planting in the shared garden or take your lunch with you and sit next to the pond. Enjoy a self-made spa day relaxing in the hot tub and sauna, and swimming in the indoor pool topped off with a game of table tennis.

This area is beautiful walking country, and the rugged moors are right on your doorstep with miles of heather moorland to explore. You’ll also find great walks in Cropton Forest (3 miles). The nearby town of Pickering (5 miles) has a selection of shops, a museum and a brewery, and there’s a friendly local pub in the village. Enjoy all the sights and attractions of York (30.5 miles), home to York Minster, the Jorvik Viking Centre, the National Railway Museum, and the Shambles shopping street.
