Park View is a well-located cottage in Filey, appreciated for its proximity to the beach, town, and country park. Guests enjoy the enclosed garden, ideal for children and pets, and the property's suitability as a base for exploring the Yorkshire coast. While some guests find the cottage cosy and well-equipped, others suggest it could benefit from updating and more thorough cleaning.
Reviews present a mixed view on cleanliness. Some guests found the property clean and comfortable, while others reported issues such as mould, dust, and stained items. The inconsistency in feedback suggests room for improvement in this area.
The location is highly praised for its convenience to the beach, town, and scenic walks, making it an excellent spot for holidaymakers. The secure garden and peaceful neighbourhood are also appreciated, although construction noise was a concern for one guest.
Comfort levels are generally well-regarded, with positive comments on the property's warmth and cosiness. However, some guests mentioned uncomfortable beds and bulky furniture, indicating that comfort could be enhanced with some updates.
Facilities are deemed adequate by most, with good Wi-Fi and pet-friendly features. Criticisms include broken or missing items, such as remote controls and DVD players, and suggestions for better kitchen equipment and furniture layout.

! Very dog friendly with wooden floors and a lawned enclosed garden. Easy walk down to beach and fantastic cliff walk to Scarborough (bus back) Thank you Sue for immediately dealing with tv not working and bathroom light needing replacing- super impressed and appreciatedâ¤ï¸ Would definitely recommend this property and hope to be back but would stay in twin room not double as a bit small for us.

Clean and well presented, excellent secure garden for the dogs and good off-road parking. Around the corner from Filey Brigg and a 10 minute walk to the beach or the town. Some tiny nit picks, only in the kitchen, which included a small microwave that won't accommodate the nice but very large square dinner plates which is awkward if warming takeaway. If you plan on preparing food, there is a rather random selection of cookware and the kitchen knives are blunt but there is no sharpener. Overall highly recommended.
