Granary Cottage in Scarborough is highly praised for its cleanliness, peaceful location, and suitability for dog owners. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities and the cottage's warmth and cosiness. The scenic surroundings and proximity to local attractions make it an ideal base for exploring. While some minor maintenance issues and comfort improvements are suggested, the overall experience is very positive, with many guests planning return visits.
The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning its spotless condition. Only one review noted a need for cleaning appliances, but this seems an isolated comment amidst overall excellent feedback.
The location is celebrated for its tranquillity and central positioning for coastal and moor visits. However, the closure of a nearby shop and the need for transport slightly affect the convenience aspect.
Comfort is generally well-regarded, with the cottage described as cosy and warm. Some guests mentioned issues with furniture comfort and noise disturbances, which slightly impacts the score.
Facilities are considered well-appointed and suitable for guests' needs, including those with dogs. Points were deducted for maintenance issues like the need for a shower update and appliance cleaning.
