About this property

Well-positioned in the bustling town of Whitby, North Yorkshire is Chandler's View, a three-storey home. Just paces away from a hub of shops, eateries, attractions, and the shoreline, whilst within reach of the North York Moors National Park, Chandler's View makes the ideal base for a seascape, inviting five guests. Park up off-road before firstly entering the sitting room, complete with a homely feel, where you can kick back and unwind in front of the electric fire after a day of travelling. Continue through to the kitchen/diner, designed for socialising with seating for five, where you can gather and enjoy mealtimes together; if you'd prefer to bask in the sunshine, take advantage of the rear, private patio. When sleep calls, select between three spacious bedrooms, including a double with TV and a single on the first floor, and a lofty twin on the second floor. The home is complete with a sleek bathroom, and a cloakroom, providing plenty of space to prepare for your coming days. On your doorstep, be greeted by a host of convenience stores and supermarkets, along with a variety of dine out options, including Trenchers, The Marine Bar & Restaurant, and Harry's Lounge Bar & Brasserie. Take to the shoreline for stunning views of the sea, before filling your day with a mix of attractions, where you can tour Whitby Museum and stroll around Pannett Park, climb the 199 Steps for elevated views of the town, before discovering the remains of Whitby Abbey, take to the River Esk by boat for an afternoon of whale watching, or grab your walking boots and follow The Cinder Track walking trail. With the national park nearby, be spoilt for choice when hiking or cycling through the Yorkshire countryside, stopping off at beautiful spots including the Mallyan Spout Waterfall. For another beach day, be sure to visit Scarborough and its South Bay Beach, where you can also tour Scarborough Castle, attend an event at Scarborough Open Air Theatre, or take in the beautiful scenes at Peasholm Park, before returning home for supper. Experience all of this, and more, at Chandler's View.

At the mouth of the River Esk in North Yorkshire's Scarborough region sits the seaside town and port of Whitby. Perfectly positioned for visiting this beautiful region of Yorkshire, the local area has an array of activities so you can be sure to get the best out of both the countryside and the seaside.
