Hazel Lodge is a simply dreamy wooden lodge, nestled in the rural outskirts of Whitby. Park up and be welcomed into a welcoming, light and airy open-plan living space, where the sitting area offers an ideal spot to put your feet up and reflect on the days adventures. When mealtimes call, why not cook up a storm in the well-stocked kitchen, enjoying your hearty meal alongside a glass of fizz at the dining table? When sleep calls, freshen up in the sleek shower room, before cosying up in one of the two well-presented bedrooms, choosing between a king-size with handy en-suite shower room, and a twin. When the sun is shining, throw open the glass double doors and dine alfresco, taking in the countryside views on offer. When the stars appear overhead, take an opulent dip in the hot tub. There is simply so much to be explored throughout North Yorkshire with a stay at Hazel Lodge. From the nearby North York Moors to its Blue Flag beaches, there's something here for everyone. Take a trip to the picturesque harbour and lighthouse to watch the sun set or get involved in some whale watching or a coastal cruise to watch the creatures up close. Climb the famous 199 steps to the Whitby Abbey to immerse yourself with history, or visit the Captain Cook Memorial Museum presenting historical and ethnographic exhibition about Cook himself. Looks brand new, and absolutely spotless. Loved the decor. Great views, and nice to see the horses and sheep right there. Only minor points are that the bathroom is absolutely tiny, as is the second bedroom. Very nice enclosed deck with hot tub. Very quiet and peaceful, with the Stables Restaurant very handy, and the Park and Ride literally just across the road, making it so easy to get into town without having to worry about parking. Overall, we Loved it and had a really relaxing weekend.

The accommodation itself was amazing absolutely loved it. Could have done with more instructions about the hot tub. Will definitely book again.

The Lodge is beautiful with amazing views over to Whitby Abbey and the sea. We had everything we needed and loved every minute. The park and ride is a 2 minute walk away, the pub is a 2 minute walk away and the hot tub was lovely and relaxing in the evening. The owners live on site and couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. It really is an outstanding location and the site has been thought out very well to make best use of the surrounding views. We are already looking to book for later on the year.
