Treat yourselves to a sumptuous stay at this enticing penthouse apartment at the heart of historic Whitby. Set on the fourth floor of a modern building, the stylish, two-bedroom retreat sleeps four guests and is just 100 metres from the coastal town’s elegant Pannett Park. It is also ideally located for exploring the character-laden old quarter, spending time on the beach and heading into the North York Moors.

Make your way into the building via the foyer and take the lift up to your private apartment. Step into a spacious, light-filled lounge/kitchen/diner, with contemporary fixtures and furnishings and more than a touch or two of luxury. Head over to the kitchen to prepare the freshly landed fish and seafood you have bought in town. Sit down to eat at the dining table before whiling away the rest of your relaxing evening on the comfortable seating in the lounge area. Watch the Smart TV over here or play music through the Sonos speakers as you chat. Open the door to the Juliet balcony during the summer months. When you are ready to lay your head on your pillow, make your way through to either the king-size bedroom, which has its own TV and an en-suite shower room, or the twin. There is also a family bathroom. Bask in the sunshine out in the shared gardens or stroll across to the park on fine days.

Stroll just over 0.5 miles from the apartment to climb the 199 steps up to impressive Whitby Abbey. Marvel at the striking ruins here and take in the sweeping coastal vistas.
