About this property
Experience the unique character and charm of the Yorkshire seaside town of Whitby when you stay at this first-floor apartment. Sleeping four guests, the dog-friendly retreat has two bedrooms and is within 300 metres of the sandy beach at West Cliff, with its row of colourful huts. From the apartment, discover the many historic attractions of the vibrant town or venture into the magnificent North York Moors National Park, with its abundance of walks, beauty spots and opportunities for outdoor activity.
Enter via the shared foyer and make your way up the stairs to the first floor and your private quarters. Step in to discover the heart of the modern holiday home is its inviting lounge/diner, where you can discuss your day, make plans for tomorrow and settle down in front of the Smart TV. Head through to the kitchen to find everything you need to help you cater for the party using the Yorkshire produce you have bought in Whitby. Call everyone to the table in the main room when the meal is ready. When it is time to lay your head on your pillow, amble through to one of the two bedrooms. These include a double with an en-suite shower room, and a twin. There is also a family bathroom. This apartment has no outside space, but you can stroll over to the beach whenever you fancy some fresh air.
Enjoy the many attractions of the town, from its historic 199 steps and abbey to the museums, pier, shops and restaurants. There are also attractions here that are connected to Bram Stoker’s renowned gothic novel Dracula, which was partly set in the Yorkshire town. Pick up the Cleveland Way in Whitby and walk 7 miles to the picture-postcard old fishing village of Robin Hood’s Bay.
