Move things over to the dining area for a quality sit-down meal and keep the good times flowing with a nice bottle of wine, before it's time to turn in for the night. Whitby is the bustling town on the coast of Yorkshire, at the mouth of the River Esk, and a popular place for visiting tourists. It is on the edge of the North York Moors where those who love the outdoors can immerse themselves in the beautiful landscapes by walking on foot, or you can travel by mountain bike over the varied terrain. Whitby Beach is lovely in the summer and has a great atmosphere, with beach-side cafes and restaurants, and local independent shops where you can buy a souvenir.
