Guests say

Sunnybrae is a well-received holiday cottage in Whitby, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable accommodation, and excellent location. Guests appreciate the thoughtful welcome packs and the property's proximity to local attractions. The scenic views and the presence of nearby walking paths add to the charm of this cottage, making it a recommended stay for visitors.

Reviewers consistently mention that Sunnybrae is spotlessly clean, with several comments highlighting the immaculate condition of the property. The high level of cleanliness contributes significantly to the overall positive experience of the guests.

The location of Sunnybrae is frequently praised for its proximity to Whitby and scenic walking paths, such as the Cinder Track. The quiet setting and lovely views are appreciated, although some guests mention a slightly longer walk into town and parking considerations.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of the well-equipped kitchen and ample wardrobe space. The property is described as cosy and welcoming, although a few guests noted the living room's natural light and one comment about bed comfort.

The facilities at Sunnybrae are generally well-regarded, with a modern kitchen and good bathroom facilities. However, several reviews point out the lack of recycling options and occasional parking issues, which slightly detract from the overall satisfaction with the facilities.

While many guests express gratitude for the welcome packs provided by the owners, as a copy-writer, I must politely note that such gestures, though appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay. There is not enough information to score this category accurately.

The house is in a beautiful setting and very close to the centre of Whitby - only 20 mins’ walk along the cinder path. Thoroughly recommended. (I would add though that maybe the stairs are too steep for people with limited mobility). Just one tiny quibble - the kitchen chairs need some sticky felt pads on the underside of the legs to prevent grating noises at every movement! Thank you for a lovely hioliday.
