Willow Nook is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, stunning location, and comfort. Guests appreciate the spaciousness, cosy wood burner, and the conservatory with beautiful views. The local pub and walks add to the charm, making it a recommended stay.
The majority of guests found Willow Nook to be spotlessly clean, with only a few isolated comments about minor cleanliness oversights. Overall, the high standard of cleanliness contributes positively to the guests' experiences.
The cottage's location is highly praised for its beautiful views and proximity to local attractions. The scenic and peaceful setting in the North York Moors & Coast, with easy access to walks and the nearby town of Whitby, is a highlight for guests.
Guests consistently mention the comfort of the beds and the cosy atmosphere of the cottage, particularly with the wood burning stove. The conservatory is a favourite spot for relaxation. However, some guests noted the cottage can be quite cold upon arrival.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. Some guests mentioned minor issues with maintenance, such as the need for sharper knives and a chopping board, and a non-powerful shower, but these do not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.
While the reviews reflect a positive experience, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

Stunning views and a good outside area to enjoy them from. The only fault we would mention is although the kitchen was very well equipped the oven was in need of a deep clean. Saying this we would definitely stay again.]

Good facilities in the cottage, the sofa in the conservatory and beds were comfortable, however the sofa in the living room was not that comfortable, we didn't sit in there very much. We cooked most nights, the kitchen was well equipped, although there was no chopping board or sharp knives, it would be good if the owners could provide these. Overall a great cottage with fantastic walks near the coast.
