A very clean and comfortable property . The description of the property was exactly what we found. A community shop around the corner selling everything that you need if you are catering at home from the well equipped kitchen. The railway station around a ten minute stroll away with York only a ten minute ride away . More convenient than taking the car. All in all a great place to stay as previous reviews have suggested.

Most facilities good, beds & seating comfortable. Had to move furniture to give convenient surfaces & reading lamps. TV poor. Curtains puddled on floor and uneven flooring were serious trip hazards to us older folk. Outside space a big disappointment, chairs to sit on but only a view of wooden fence and a row of wheelie bins - no plants at all. I would recommend this holiday home to cover basic needs - eating & sleeping - which suited us as we were in Yorkshire to give support to an elderly relative and not on holiday.
