Raskelf 2 miles. An attractive, detached cottage adjoining the owners' house in wide, open countryside, just two miles from the village of Raskelf and four miles from the market town of Easingwold. Set over the ground floor, this warm and cosy Easingwold cottage is ideal for a couple to enjoy a country break in this beautiful and historical area and is perfect for exploring the stunning scenery of the Howardian Hills, the Vale of York and the eastern Dales before returning to a lovely haven of peace and tranquillity. The cottage is set amongst one and a half acres of the owners' superb gardens, with both formal and wild gardens, a lovely orchard and, the centrepiece of the outstanding layout, a beautiful pond with extensive decking to sit out and enjoy the local wildlife. The accommodation in this Raskelf cottage consists of an open- plan living area with well-equipped kitchen, cosy sitting area with French doors to a private sitting out area, and a small dining area. A shower room and delightful double bedroom complete the layout and all the windows afford pretty views of the surrounding gardens. Set within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this Raskelf cottage offers superb walking opportunities, with a wide network of public footpaths. The elegant Georgian town of Easingwold has a wide cobbled market square, lined with an array of quality shops, cafes and traditional inns offering fine dining. Visit the nearby city of York and tour the National Railway Museum, Jorvik Viking Centre and the spectacular Minster and be sure to walk the medieval city walls for a unique view of this wonderful city.     This cottage is in a rural location and is perfect for total relaxation the owners make you feel really welcome and nothing is to much trouble the cottage is in their grounds and they encourage you to use all their garden seating areas to relax
