Foxglove Cottage is a charming property in a delightful village, appreciated for its beautiful location and comfortable furnishings. Guests have enjoyed the nearby dining and scenic walks, though some improvements are suggested for an even better stay.
The property generally seems well-kept, but there are mentions of dust webs and a wasps nest, indicating room for improvement in cleanliness.
The location is praised for being great, with proximity to dining options and scenic walks, contributing to a relaxing experience.
The cottage is noted for its comfortable furniture and high-level finish, although the late check-in time was a minor inconvenience for some guests.
Facilities are well-decorated but have some issues such as poor lighting, lack of mirrors, and inadequate indoor dining arrangements. The outdoor area is appreciated but not as usable in poor weather.
There is no mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts, so it is not possible to assess this category.

It was perfectly positioned for all our day trips and a short stroll from the pretty village. The furniture, including the bed, was comfortable and we loved the decor, which made us feel cosy. Our only small suggestion would be a larger mirror on the bedroom, as once we had showered it was impossible to see in the bathroom mirror. Fantastic stay and we hope to be back soon for more drives and walks in the glorious countryside. .

Itâs our second stay at this property in a delightful village where I was lucky enough to watch the aurora dancing across the village.
