Granny's cottage in Bushmills is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and prime location for exploring the Giant's Causeway and Northern Ireland's coast. Guests have highlighted the well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and the warm welcome provided by the hosts. While some minor issues were noted, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests planning to return.
The property is consistently described as spotlessly clean, with several reviews emphasising the cleanliness of the rooms and facilities. This suggests a high standard of hygiene and care.
The cottage's location is frequently praised for being close to local attractions like the Giant's Causeway and beaches, as well as being within easy reach of Bushmills and other sites. However, some guests noted the lack of walking paths for dogs directly from the property.
Guests have found the beds to be super comfy and the home warm and inviting. The presence of a working farm adds to the rural charm, although it was a concern for some.
The cottage is well-equipped with a well-stocked kitchen, washing machine, and good showers. Some guests suggested improvements such as a radio in the kitchen, a stair gate, and better outdoor furniture. There were also mentions of damp in the kitchen.
While guests have mentioned essentials provided on arrival and a warm welcome, there are no specific references to gifts. Therefore, it is not possible to accurately score thoughtfulness based on the provision of gifts.

Ideal for us visiting Ireland for the first time as we were able to view areas around the house as well as going further within the same day. The house made it a lovely stay for the whole family. My 3 year old loved being in the garden at the front and watching the vehicles going up and down the road. My baby loved being outside in the shelter of the sun too. Over all we had a truly lovely two weeks stay and will definitely be back at some point in the future.

The rural location meant we were blessed with quiet surroundings and animals a plenty enjoying the pastures around the property. The cottage was really clean with spacious rooms and bathrooms, a big bath upstairs and power showers in both bathrooms. Bedding was lovely and clean and the kitchen had room enough for the family. Grannyâs was a great base for us to discover the sites and trails of the Giants Causeway Coast, as well as visit family in nearby Ballymoney. As many others have done, we left some Tips for Travellers in the guest book in the kitchen. Thoroughly recommended!

Great location, comfy beds, clean and tidy. The only thing missing was a cosy fire for the colder darker nights but thatâs not an issue for the warmer months. A*
