Snaptrip says

Alken Cabin in Bushmills is highly praised for its cleanliness, peaceful location, and beautiful views. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, cosy beds, and the spacious garden. While some minor issues with comfort and facilities are noted, such as the lack of a microwave and the comfort of the sofa and mattresses, the overall experience is very positive, with many guests planning to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cabin consistently receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being 'spotless' and 'well maintained'. There is a single mention of needing a deeper clean behind and under furniture.

The location is frequently described as peaceful, quiet, and central to local attractions like the Causeway Coast, making it an ideal base for exploring. The views are also highly commended.

Comfort receives positive comments for cosy beds and a spacious shower, but there are some concerns about the comfort of the sofa, the top bunk mattress, and the main bedroom mattress.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-equipped kitchen and good Wi-Fi. However, the absence of a microwave and washing machine, and the adequacy of kitchenware for larger groups, are noted drawbacks.

There is no mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category. Therefore, the score is set to null.

The perfect place to relax after a day exploring the most beautiful coastline. Have the seating on the porch was perfect, I think we only went inside to sleep and shower! Would be happy to spend longer here for sure.

The extra touches make all the difference. The seats on the veranda were a lovely addition. Views over the countryside are peaceful. Kitchen is equipped enough for light cooking. Everything we needed. Easy to find and plenty of space for parking beside the cabin. Beautiful gardens. Would love to stay again if/when we visit that area.

My only concern was that the mattress in the master bedroom is pretty worn out.
