The area is also popular with Game of Thrones fans, and we are in a prime location to visit all the hot spots like “The Dark Hedges” Kings Road, Cushendun Caves, Murlough Bay, and Ballintoy Harbour.

I’m Claire! I’ve lived in Torr for 22 years and have been hosting on Airbnb since 2019. When I’m not looking after Torr Lodge I’m generally tending to my animals. I have a wee flock of 60 ewes, 4 horses and 3 dogs - a border terrier named Archie, a german shepherd named Alfie and a working collie named Jess. I also have hens so there are always fresh eggs for the cabin! I absolutely love this area of the North Antrim coast so if you have any questions about your stay I’d be happy to help.

You have the entire cabin and patio to enjoy to yourself. We live on a property a few hundred metres behind the cabin and are happy to leave you to it in compete privacy - or provide any information and advice that you need.

You can easily access the neighbouring towns of Ballintoy and Ballycastle, and taxis are widely available. The area is perfect for hiking, cycling, meandering and even swimming in the local beaches - weather dependent!

Nearby attractions include the golf club, Marine Hotel and newly-opened Salt House Hotel, Rathlin Island with puffins, the green hill (with views of Scotland), Fair Head, and the shops, restaurants and bars of Ballycastle and Cushendun.

Also in striking distance are the Bushmills Distillary, Carrickarede Rope Bridge and The Giants Causeway.

It’s best to have a car to explore the surrounding areas, but taxis are widely available if you fancy a night out.
