With a neat modern kitchen space where you can cook up something on the induction hub, or leave something to bake in the electric oven. Home to a man-made lough called Lough Island Reavy, this village is surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside and is not far from the coast looking out to the Irish sea. A claim to fame is that it is said that Saint Patrick's body stayed in Kilcoo when on its way to Downpatrick to be buried, a special piece of history for Ireland.

the bedroom furniture enabled us to unpack and feel at home , not living out of the suitcase . The kitchen had every thing you needed . We cooked dinner at the cottage a couple of evenings. . And the welcome pack was pleasant and thoughtful . The walk in shower was the best at the end of a days walking . The log burner added to the cozy evenings . We would highly recommend this cottage , its beautiful location , scenic views . Philomena was the perfect host , thank you
