Coastal Cottage is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its cleanliness, comfortable setting, and proximity to beautiful beaches. The village's tranquility and friendly locals add to the charm. While some guests mentioned minor issues with facilities and comfort, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to returning.
The cottage generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with several guests describing it as spotless. There was a minor mention of sticky cutlery and cups, but this seems to be an isolated incident.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to beaches and the peacefulness of the village. However, some guests noted the limited local amenities and the need to travel for more extensive shopping and dining options.
Guests find the cottage cosy and comfortable overall, but some have mentioned issues with the sofa and bed comfort, as well as challenges with steep stairs, which may affect those with mobility issues.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and good internet access. However, there are comments about an old TV, temperamental fridge, and parking difficulties for larger vehicles.
The hosts are commended for their thoughtfulness, with mentions of a welcome pack and complimentary items. While these gestures are appreciated, they may vary and are not guaranteed for every stay.

Has all the comfort of home, very clean and well maintained, be aware of the steep steps upstairs though if have mobility issues.Could do with extra frying pan especially if 3 or 4 people staying. The garden is a perfect sun trap and fully enclosed so was perfect for Tia to wander around. The village itself is very quiet and not much in the way of amenities, but Fraserburgh is only 5 min drive where you can find everything you need (McIntosh butchers has a fantastic range). The beach is a 5 minute walk from the cottage very quiet and dog friendly. Really enjoyed a relaxing evening in this cosy cottage after visiting local area which is full of stunning views and quaint fishing villages.
