This cottage is approached via a maze of winding country roads surrounded by breath-taking landscapes to offer a bolthole for people looking to escape city life and explore the wonders of the broad valley of Strathmore. Boasting everything you will need for a week long break with your loved one including an amply equipped kitchen where you will be able to rustle up all of the meals before sinking into the sofa within the sitting room, complete with a good selection of books and games to keep you occupied during a rainy day. After an adventure-filled day, look forward to drifting off within the elegant bedroom which comes with a double bed and access to a shower room, complete with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. Enjoy your summer mornings within the enclosed garden area where you and your loved one can soak up the rural views with your energising coffee. This base is perfect for getting away from it all however if you can tear yourself away from this retreat, venture into the centre of the handsome market town of Kirriemuir, where you will find a fine selection of amenities and attractions including JM Barrie's birthplace, which is now a museum looked after by the National Trust, an Aviation Museum, Glamis Castle and the historic Pictish Stones at Meigle.     We arrived in the dark our host was outside with a torch to show our way log burner lit so welcoming and very helpful when we saw our surroundings the next day it was just wow!!! Sue and Ian shared places of interest and about the area we were in It was perfect .
