The location is highly praised for its remoteness, tranquillity, and proximity to Loch Awe. The single-track access road may be challenging for some.
The property is generally found to be comfortable and spacious, with a particularly cosy living room. Some guests noted the cream carpets could be stressful with children.
Facilities are adequate but some guests felt improvements are needed, such as updating the kitchen and bathrooms. The lack of a dishwasher and dryer was noted.
While a lovely welcome gift from the owners is mentioned, there is insufficient information to assess overall thoughtfulness consistently across reviews. It should be noted that such gestures are appreciated but not guaranteed.

It could do with a refresh with much wallpaper etc looking a bit worn. Mostly however, while general cleanliness was perfectly fine, the place needs a deep clean and detail in cleaning. Pulling out the dining table extension revealed horrible food waste. The kitchen has a light which can be lowered towards the table, a good feature until doing that during our meal rained the table with fossilised wood lice and dust. So in general a really lovely property that would be first class with some decor refresh and some attention to proper cleaning.
