Cross the threshold and head into the living/dining room where you can unwind on the plush sofas and window seats in front of the TV, ideal after a day full of exploration. Later, head into the fully-equipped kitchen where you can rustle up tasty meals that the whole family can enjoy around the dining table. End the evening outside in the bubbling hot tub before heading back inside to wash off the day in the sleek shower rooms. After freshening up choose between nine well-appointed bedrooms consisting of king-size with en-suites, super-king-size, a king-size and a family room both with en-suites. Founded in 1745 by the Duke of Argyll, Inveraray has served as the county town of Argyll for centuries. It faces Loch Fyne and is adjacent to the stunningly restored Inveraray Castle. The town was planned to house people who worked at the castle estate, in the nearby woollen mill, and in the burgeoning herring industry. In today's society, many buildings are recognised for their significant architectural value and are therefore protected. In addition to the castle, modern-day visitors can enjoy the town's many other sights, including its many shops, restaurants, and cafes. Lightship-turned-museum-floating-jail; has seen better days. The National Trust Crarae Gardens are a must-see, as are the Highland Games. In addition to the Cruachan Power Station, which is actually inside of a mountain, the hills around Inveraray are also great for hiking, biking, and fishing. Visiting Kilmartin, with its collection of Neolithic monuments, and Oban is a delightful drive. Stunning natural beauty frames the many sights to see.

    Lovely rooms with great views. A home from home and the hot tub was great. We enjoyed the walks around Inveraray every day too. Also loved reading the history of this lovely house. We will be back

    We all had a great time. We couldn’t empty bins outside as bins were overflowing unfortunately but otherwise all good.

    There were 18 of us children adults and dogs and there was everything we needed. Kitchen fully equipped, bedrooms and views wow. Bedrooms are fabulous , towels included. Hot tub, football table which adults and kids had great fun. Spotlessly clean , beautiful views and close to Main Street.
