Nearby walks include Ben Lora, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and out to the islands. You can seal spot along the loch. Tralee Beach (3.4 miles), perfect for a picnic and Oban just 7.4 miles, with quality eateries, the Atlantis Leisure Centre for indoor swimming, and an excellent range of independent shops and quality eateries. From here you can get wildlife boat trips as well as ferries out to Mull and other islands. Magnificent Glencoe is 29 miles and all around are mountains and glens inviting exploration, with some historic castles thrown in. National Cycle Route 78 passes nearby, and this is also an excellent centre for kayaking and mountain biking. Oban also boasts a distillery and from the top of the town, panoramic sunsets.
