Tarbert Country Manor holds a magnificent position on the shores of West Loch Tarbert. With stunning views over the loch to Kintyre and the hills of Arran, the Manor is the perfect retreat for those looking for a peaceful countryside escape.
The turreted 19th century baronial mansion has been lovingly modernised and combines its original charm and character with updated interiors and all the modern amenities guests could possibly need, including pool table, cinema room, and Wi-Fi throughout. Tarbert Country Manor can comfortably accommodate up to seventeen guests across its nine well-appointed bedrooms, making it a fantastic setting for a special celebration or family reunion.
On the ground floor is the main living accommodation which offers multiple spaces for relaxing and socialising, including a sitting room, dining room, library, study and a large, fully-equipped kitchen with separate dining area. Upstairs are the nine bedrooms, one Emperor, three king-size rooms, one double, a triple and a twin as well as two single rooms. Three of the bedrooms boast en-suite facilities, while the final bedrooms share the use of two large family bathrooms.
Outside, guests can explore the estate, with its spacious well-tended gardens, oak woods and walled garden, as well as the private pebble beach and foreshore.
While guests will enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle, the village of Tarbert with its shops, restaurants and pubs, is just a fifteen-minute drive away, and there is plenty to explore in the vicinity of the manor.
Situated on the edge of Loch Fyne and the Kintyre Peninsula, Tarbert is a charming village that offers a perfect blend of history, adventure, and natural beauty. With its picturesque harbour and historic Tarbert Castle, this village provides an excellent base for exploring the wonders of Argyll.

The nearby Isle of Jura is renowned for its rugged landscapes and whisky distillery, offering both nature lovers and whisky enthusiasts a memorable experience. The Kintyre Peninsula invites exploration with scenic drives, hidden beaches, and an abundance of wildlife.

We loved this sprawling, three-storey mansion, with its staircases and passageways, the pool room, the lovely kitchen/conservatory/dining area. Just great in every way. A bit too big for our group of 11, but so much fun and we all got the rooms we wanted!

The house is very beautiful, one of my best trips to visit this house.

Wonderful property and location. Jo and Paul very helpful indeed. For a large group this house is fabulous. I can think of nothing whatsoever negative to say beyond just asking that the piano be tuned ahead of our next visit (!). Thanks from our group of 17 for allowing us the privilege to stay.
