Guests say

Fleetbank is a well-appointed cottage in Castle Douglas, praised for its comfort, including cosy beds and a hot tub. It's pet-friendly and beautifully decorated, offering a relaxing break with family-friendly amenities. The location is convenient, close to parks, shops, and walks. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the property generally exceeds expectations with its cleanliness and thoughtful touches.

The property is described as 'beautifully clean', indicating a high standard of cleanliness. One mention of a stain in a bedroom suggests a slight deduction, but overall, the cleanliness is highly regarded.

The cottage's location is appreciated for its proximity to parks, shops, and scenic walks. However, parking difficulties due to nearby popular spots slightly affect the score.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the addition of a hot tub enhances the comfort level. Some suggestions for improvement in bedroom amenities are made, but overall comfort is rated highly.

The property is well-equipped, but feedback suggests room for improvement in facilities and maintenance, such as garden security for pets, curtain lining, and additional storage. The presence of a hot tub is a positive aspect.

While the reviews mention thoughtful touches like good bedding and shower products, there is no specific mention of gifts. Therefore, it's not possible to assess the thoughtfulness based on gifts, and the score is set to null.

Good location next to shops & places to eat, nice walks nearby . Just wish it was kingsize beds in the en-suite bedrooms . Hooks for dressing gown at hot tub would be good. Would definitely return

As I'm from an interior back ground there was a few things. Missing from bedrooms more storage tv in rooms a console unit with mirror and chair in the main bedroom upstairs for doing your hair and makeup. Sorting out the curtains mainly upstairs they need lined .shortened and make in to eyelets. Nasty mark in top bedroom carpet looked like a pooh stain needs attention. Back garden has holes were our big dog kept escaping we had to up chairs around to make it safe. Couldn't find ironing board. Could do with a bigger fridge and freezer. Parking outside the house was like winning the lottery .mainly people going to the ship for food would park in front of the house and think nothing of it. Was very impressed with the good bedding and mattresses and towels.and shower products used. Sofas were nice apart from horrible nylon covers over them. For the price there is a few things that need to be done to be 5 star rating.
