Facilities are generally praised for being of high quality and well-equipped. A minor issue with hot water and a suggestion for a parasol are noted, but overall feedback is very positive.

Driftwood is a stunning home in a beautiful location. Driftwood was spotlessly clean with top of the range furniture, appliances, bedding, towels etc. This all made for a very comfortable stay. The lift in Driftwood was amazing especially as we are both disabled. I loved the log burning stove(s). It was nice to have the log burner on at night especially as the temperatures outside really dipped. The completely enclosed large garden was lovely and our whippet simply loved having the freedom to wander about. Sue the owner was very attentive and most helpful. In short I can't recommend Driftwould highly enough.

Really great house, every bit as good as the pictures and very spacious. We stayed over the weekend of our wedding and it was the perfect base for friends and family to visit us, get ready for the wedding etc. it really was excellent. The Anchor Hotel - 5 mins lovely walk along the sea front from Driftwood - does excellent pub food and has a welcoming atmosphere too. We had dinner there on two nights and loved it.

Enjoyed our stay, nice big house with balcony overlooking the river Urr. The view is partially obscured by a new type building which is a shame. There is ongoing housing development in the small estate which did not affect us too much. Fabulous food and drink at the Anchor Hotel in the town. We also visited the Arc Tea Room which is also in the town, fantastic scone with cream and jam. Plenty of lovely walks leading into Rockcliffe where you can have a ice cream from the local ice cream van.
