Guests say

Camphill is a well-received cottage, praised for its tranquil setting and homely atmosphere. Guests appreciate the secure garden, ideal for dogs, and the property's cleanliness. The location offers peace and quiet with beautiful countryside, though some found the drive challenging. Comfort levels are high, with cosy interiors and a wood burner. While some minor maintenance issues were noted, the overall experience is positive, with many guests planning to return.

The cottage generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with several reviews mentioning it being spotless and tidy. However, a few guests noted issues such as a dirty rug and the need for a vacuum, slightly lowering the score.

The location is highly praised for its tranquility and proximity to nature, with guests enjoying the peaceful surroundings and wildlife. The distance from the town and the single-track access road are noted, but do not significantly detract from the overall positive reception.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with spacious bedrooms and a cosy living area. Some guests mentioned the property being warm and the beds comfortable, although there were comments about drafty windows and insufficient heating control.

The cottage is well-equipped with essential amenities, but some guests reported maintenance issues such as a non-working DVD player, mould in the washing machine, and draughty windows. The wood burner is a highlight, though the provision of logs was a concern for some.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the owners in the reviews. Therefore, it is not possible to assess the thoughtfulness category, and the score is set to null.

Very clean, well equipped n cosy. It has everything you could need, and is set in beautiful surroundings. The garden was a huge success with our 2 dogs, and we had spectacular starry nights too. The lane is great for quiet walks, no traffic, apart from the odd tractor. All in all, we can't fault it. N would love to return. Thankyou.

One of the nicest places we have stopped at. The cottage is a lovely place to stay, clean, tidy and the kitchen has everything you need for your stay including an air fryer! The beds were the most comfortable we've had whilst on vacation. The gardens are more than enough for our four legged friends, and the lane outside the cottage is fab for morning and night time walks.
