The property is appreciated for its well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. However, guests have raised concerns about maintenance issues such as broken guttering, a non-working extractor fan, and the need for updates in the kitchen and garden areas.
Guests often mention the thoughtful gestures, like fresh flowers and welcome snacks, which enhance their stay. While these gifts are warmly received, it is politely noted that such extras are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

The Christmas tree was a thoughtful touch. Nicely situated. Worked a treat. We are very grateful to Grace, and the owners. Thank you.

Cottage cosy and comfortable. Everything you needed well equipped. We will certainly return.

I would not recommend this cottage though for a number of reasons: 1) Wallpaper hanging down on the sloping ceiling above the bed in the twin room. 2) Hole in the wall by the table in the dining room. 3) Kick board removed from under the dishwasher etc in the kitchen and left leaning against the wall in the dining room - which I'm guessing had something to do with the ant killer bottle nestled in between the microwave and the kitchen roll in the kitchen. 4) Door to the bathroom was broken and wouldn't remain shut without being locked. Not ideal when you have children who want privacy on the toilet but are at risk of locking themselves in. 5) Paint peeled off a whole section of the kitchen door.
