Nice secure garden which Charlie, our Cocker Spaniel loved. Lots of independent shops in Thornhill. Great location for exploring the Solway coast and the Southern Uplands, or further afield to Ayr, and a wander along tge Esplanade. Lovely walks by the banks of the River Nith

Photos do not do it justice. Keith was a great host, greeting us in arrival and had left bread, milk and shortcake biscuits as a welcome pack. Everything you need in the nearby village, pubs, restaurants, butchers, bakery and convenience store, local garage blew our tyre up for us. Secure garden to allow our dog to roam safely under a watchful eye. Comfortable seating, lovely big bed but not much room at either side, as a larger guy I had to proceed carefully getting in and out of bed.

This was SO much better than we had anticipated from the photos! A really comfortable and well-stocked holiday home. The owners had thought of everything; the kitchen had everything we needed, bed was comfy, shower was good, and a lovely welcome package. I couldn't recommend more! Thank you so much for our stay!
